The second appointment is 45 minutes. Dr. Love will have reviewed the information from the recommended tests and all previous reports to provide a therapeutic plan for your care. Together you will discuss the details and implementation of her recommendations and she will provide these as a written plan. Additional time may be scheduled at this or subsequent appointments for complex and/or multiple health issues and to ensure that an appropriate physical examination has been undertaken.
Dr. Love is committed to helping you understand and work with the many aspects of 'dis-ease' and its impact on your health and well-being. She will help you recognize that physical and emotional symptoms are important signals of the body's distress that can be used to direct the path to healing. Her mission is to create 'can do' programs in which, together, you direct the focus of care you wish her to provide.
Dr. Love works with you to develop health care strategies and preventive programs from the 'bottom up', looking at such factors as diet and lifestyle, environmental toxic burden, genetic vulnerabilities and metabolic and organ stresses as important determinants of health and disease progression.
Subsequent appointments are 15 - 30 minutes depending on the complexity and number of health issues being addressed, to monitor response and compliance to the recommended program and build upon the initial strategies as needed. Longer appointments may be scheduled for new health issues and re-evaluations. Dr. Love endeavors to focus therapies on the core health issues for both relief of acute symptoms while paving the way to long term prevention of recurrence and health management.
Health is a state of balance and peace within the emotional, physical and spiritual context of our being. Optimum health is being the best we can with the best information and supports available. Dr. Love is committed to helping you develop and achieve your health goals and a healthier future for you and your family.
